Absurd Collage: The promo video for FIVE

When video dude Graham Law (www.glaw.com) approached Guerilla about boosting the quality and quantity of video content of our site, we welcomed him with open arms. And with our fifth anniversary event just around the corner, it was obvious that some kind of promotional video would be a great place to start. It was also obvious that painter Trevor Laalo would make a great subject for the vid. Big, boisterous, and bottle-blonde, Laalo started out as a performance poet, so he certainly has the gift of gab. He also had a great little space behind his apartment where we could tack up one of his works and start shooting.

Laalo's huge collage paintings will be front at centre at FIVE on Thursday, September 3 at The Ottawa Art Gallery.
