Hey, wow, phew, damn we did it.

The new Guerilla is finally here. And what a labour of love it was.

It was also an example of good fortune.

I was lucky enough to stumble across Chris Healey (see photo) and his burgeoning company, Mediavessel. Chris, who wrote about the late Lee Matasi in Guerilla #8, had begun offering services whereby he would create exactly the kind of web entity I was looking for: a user-friendly content management system that I could update on the fly and use to offer a more interactive Guerilla.Image

I also wanted to retain the original Guerilla aesthetic (developed in large part by Allen Ford), but move it forward with a more dynamic presentation. Chris's design skills proved pivotal in this regard.

Important to note: the new Guerilla was created using Joomla!, an open-source content management software that is (unbelievably) free! Chris worked huge hours on Guerilla and honed his Joomla! skills to a razor edge. Without reservation, I recommend Chris and Mediavessel. In fact, Chris is on a diet and has lost 8.5 pounds and 4 cm off the waist!

We hope you enjoy the new Guerilla.

Send us an email and tell us what you think.
